St Ann’s Church is located in the multi-cultural, urban area of South Tottenham. An important and valued aspect of family life at St Ann’s is the large and engaging youth and children’s work. This is carried out at St Ann’s Church and across three estates in the local Tottenham area, with a particular focus on the Tiverton Estate.
We are looking for an experienced, creative and energetic person to join our team. The PCC are looking, first and foremost, for a person who is passionate about Jesus and 100% committed to ‘Sharing God’s love, the light of Christ and Making Disciples’ of Jesus’.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and will help design and develop our existing activities and programmes, as well as pioneer and create new opportunities, so the ability to have vision and strategy for development is important.
As a faith based organisation and place of Christian worship, our beliefs are central to everything we do. The Youth and Schools Ministry Pioneer will be expected to share these beliefs, join in the spiritual life of the church and play an active part in supporting and carrying out our mission and vision.
Terms and Conditions
Accountable to: St Ann’s Parochial Church Council (PCC)
Reporting to: The incumbent and Church Wardens
Salary: £23-24,000 Per Annum (Dependant on Experience and Qualifications)
Accommodation: Subsidised accommodation maybe available, dependent on individual applicants circumstances
Hours of Work: 36
Holiday Entitlement: 25 Days per annum plus bank/public holidays
Location: St Ann’s Church, Avenue Road, Tottenham; Local Estates and Schools
Other Requirements: This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check for the post holder.
Genuine Occupational Requirement: This role has an Occupational Requirement to be a committed Evangelical Christian, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010
Church Family Life: We require that you (if you do not already) actively attend and be involved in the life of St Ann’s
