St Paul’s Church are seeking to employ a youth minister to develop the existing work with young people in the church and community. With a team of volunteers leadership is now needed to take the youth ministry to the next level.

Principal Duties:

  • Coordinate and support the church’s youth provision on Sundays and throughout the week;
  • Build on the opportunities that currently disciple and nurture young people;
  • Encourage existing and develop new ways to engage young people in the life of the church;
  • Recruit, support and empower volunteers in their various roles.
  • Develop existing schools work and relationships with local schools, particularly focussing on the transitions between juniors and secondary.
  • Develop opportunities to build relationships with un-churched children and young people;
  • Research / Network with other churches and Christian organisations in the South Bristol area.
  • To be involved in the wider life of the church, including input to all-age/café services.
  • Be a positive Christian role model and source of inspiration to the young people in
  • the church and community.
