Acorn Community Church is looking to employ a passionate individual to build on a growing work amongst young people in the church and out into the local area. 

The position will involve direct responsibility for youth work & mission whilst giving one day/week to overseeing the development of an effective team to work amongst children. 

Acorn CC is a church of all-ages and has a long tradition of effective and innovative work amongst young people - having over the years been involved in the launch and development of IXth Hour, Rock Solid/RS2 and M10 in the north east of England.  

Acorn is a growing church situated just outside of the Whitley Bay town centre on the north east coast… and within touching distance of award winning beaches (& only nine miles from Newcastle upon Tyne).

For the successful candidate this role could include flexible degree based training in Applied Theology and Youth Ministry alongside Regents Theological College (optional).
