Role: Youth Worker

The permanent role consists of 0.8 (80%) focussed on youth work and 0.2 (20%) in another area of ministry in line with the successful candidates gifting.

Location: Hillview Church, Gloucester 

We are a well-established and growing evangelical church in Hucclecote on the outskirts of the city of Gloucester with around 175 adults attending and a history of thriving children and youth activities for those inside and outside the church.

Salary range£20-24k (dependant on experience)

Key Objectives:

  1. To oversee the discipleship, mentoring and pastoral care of all our young people, students and young adults (age range from 10 to 25)
  2. To take a lead role in developing a youth ministry strategy to reach unchurched young people.
  3. To recruit, inspire, lead and equip a team of youth work volunteers.
