This is a new post which will assume primary responsibility for our additional needs ministry from the founding volunteer leadership that pioneered it. St. Saviour's has been blessed with a vibrant and growing ministry to children and young people (and at times young adults) with additional needs, and their families. Our Additional Needs activities (Trekkers) consists of Adventurers, Hikers & Trailblazers (Sunday groups 3-22yrs) and a range of mid-week groups covering children’s and families activities. We believe that every child - whatever their level of ability - is able to fully know the love of God and contribute towards building his church. As we care for our children with additional needs and their families, we seek to be guided by God as He works through each of us, allowing the love of God to flow in power and transform the lives of every child and family.

The purpose of this role is to lead and develop our ministry to children with additional needs and their families, helping implement a strategy of inclusion and accessibility and helping this missional and evangelistic ministry to thrive.
