This position will play a key role in generating new business and broadening Premier’s advertiser base for its wide range of media offerings.

The successful applicant would be joining a progressive media organisation and highly successful sales team and would be tasked with securing new business via effective sales packages and propositions.

Working across radio, digital and print to create effective campaigns, you will have the autonomy to lead relationships across a wide range of clients. Experience of B2B sales is a must, along with the drive to plan & develop trusted advisor client relationships.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about selling, excited about developing new business and motivated by targets.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve personal sales targets contributing towards Group sales targets.
  • Achieve weekly call targets by calling supplied leads and by sourcing new leads for cultivation.
  • Identify and develop new radio, digital, display, classified advertiser potential.
  • Present advertising benefits of all Premier platforms to clients supporting with audience and response statistics as required.
  • Ensure a high standard of client care at all times.
  • Conduct post campaign analysis and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Guide advertisers through the commercial production process.

To undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the Group Sales Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of using sales CRMs.
  • Ability to develop & deliver creative and effective client proposals.

Preferred

  • Experience of directory advertising sales.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a telesales role.
  • Digital product sales experience.

ABILITIES & SKILLS

  • Experience in sector analysis, targeting new clients
  • Ability to build rapport, credibility and trusted advisor status with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven administration, multi-tasking and prioritising skills.
  • IT literacy in Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • Able to work under pressure.

LOCATION: London (SW1P)
HOURS OF WORK: Full-Time, 9:15am-5:15pm (35 per week)
CONTRACT: Permanent
REPORTING TO: Group Sales Manager
SALARY: £23,000-£28,000pa circa (depending on skills and experience) + Generous Uncapped Commission
