To provide personal assistance to the Group Sales Manager. 

To work directly with the Group Sales Manager to achieve agreed cross platform sales objectives and support the sales programme ensuring best practice at all times.

To ensure clients receive the highest standard of customer service both pre and post campaign, ultimately ensuring sales income growth and client retention.

To manage the administrative needs of the Group Sales Manager and deliver administrative support to the wider Sales team. Standardising administration procedures and processes that support an efficient sales department.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal Assistance

  • Diary and email inbox management for the Group Sales Manager
  • Manage client communications on behalf of GSM as required and in her absence
  • Assist in constructing client proposals and sales presentations
  • Schedule meetings, attend client presentations and briefings, set agendas and circulate meeting notes
  • Prepare business management reports as required
  • Liaise with department heads on behalf of the Group Sales Manager to support cross-department working

Support the Group Sales Manager in managing complex client accounts including Charity Of The Year:
 -Scheduling and managing client promotions
 -Contributing to and managing the commercial production process
 -Producing client campaign activity matrixes 
 -Work with Programming, Marketing & Digital teams to deliver cross-platform client promotions
 -Generally support client relationship management and manage client communication in the Group Sales Manager’s absence
 -Organise and contribute to Premier Presenter briefings as required
 -Maintain log of all client activity
 -Produce post campaign analysis and reporting

General Sales Support and Development

  • Review and devise new templates for client correspondence and proposals ensuring consistency across the sales team
  • Quality check proposals and external correspondence for accuracy
  • Work directly with the Content team to nurture advertiser-friendly opportunities
  • Compile call records, sales reports, statistics and sales analysis on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure CRM entries are up to date and accurate and data management protocols are followed by team members
  • Manage external relationships with sales service providers including sales training companies, external lead generators, sales planning/CRM provider, media monitoring services etc.
  • Communicate changes in procedures or service to all sales team members
  • General administrative tasks as directed by the Group Sales Manager including order processing and bookings, credit control, raising invoices, client correspondence, voucher copy checking and despatch and, chasing advertising copy
  • Support the administrative needs of Recruiting Advertising Sales Executive and Premier Jobsearch self-service advertising
  • Support wider business development by working the sales team to devise effective sales promotions
  • Develop presentations and sales collateral to support the sales efforts ensuring sales materials are kept up to date.
  • Work with Finance and the Sales Execs on effective credit control, the raising of invoices and dealing with account queries expediently.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Desirable:

  • A degree in any of the following disciplines – administration, communications, sales & marketing, business studies
  • Understanding of the broad Christian community
  • Understanding of both traditional and new media is desirable
  • Experience of working in a busy, high pressured environment
