Our evangelists and projects work across the British Isles and Ireland to share the good news of Jesus through words and actions.

We work in a variety of contexts and reach out to communities in ways that help them live life to the full as we seek to transform lives with the gospel. One of the ways we do this is through Centres of Mission.

To help develop our front-line work, we are seeking two Regional Development Officers, one for the south and one for the midlands.

Their responsibility will be to cast vision with diocesan senior leaders and negotiate a partnership with them to see new Centres of Mission developed; as well as overseeing the development of our current projects in line with our DARE strategy.

The role of Regional Development Officer, is a key role in the creation and development of our front-line work, and perfect for someone who is a visionary creative leader with an ability to turn words into action.

As Regional Development Officer, you will be responsible for casting the vision to senior diocesan leaders and overseeing the planning and establishment of our Centres of Mission. This job is strategic for the development of our front-line work.

You will play a key part in the networking and engaging of new diocese to partner with us as well as ensuring our current Centres of Mission are making a significant impact across these Islands in bringing people to a living faith in Christ and implementing our DARE strategy.

The role is part time and will be home based in a location that enables you to best serve the area of your responsibility. There are two part time posts - one in the south and one in the midlands - but the right person may be able to do it as one full time role. As you will work closely with the National Team based in Sheffield, there will be regular travel to Sheffield.

The post holder must have a faith in Jesus and an active involvement in a church which is a member of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. Post holders must be in agreement with our vision and able to live out our values.
