Do you care about justice in God’s world? Could you help people in our Church to work for justice, and build strong partnerships with Christians in other countries?
‘Commitment for Life’ and ‘Global Partnerships’ are two programmes that give expression to the United Reformed Church’s mission and faith. This role will be instrumental in maintaining and developing these programmes by motivating and resourcing local churches and networks to build global partnerships, encouraging campaigning for justice and personal giving for global development.
You will have demonstrable capacity for intercultural and ecumenical working and campaigning, with a good understanding of international development issues and global justice affairs.
You will be an excellent communicator and project manager, with good administrative and organisational skills. The ability to reflect theologically on mission and what it means to be part of a global church would be a distinct advantage, as would fluency in a language other than English.
