An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Worker to join KeyRing's Ancora Project in Oldham. This is a part time post of 20 hours p/w with a salary of £11,268 per annum. The post is a fixed term contract until 31/07/2021. Ancora’s Project Worker will play a key role in supporting people in their journey out of poverty.

The Ancora project is a five-year project which aims to support people to move out of and develop resilience to poverty. The project has been developed with funding from the Big Lottery and formed by a partnership between Christians Against Poverty, Oldham Food Bank, and KeyRing.

KeyRing are a not for profit organisation and their aim is to support vulnerable people to live independently. We provide support to over 850+ people across England and Wales, from KeyRing networks to Self- Advocacy.

About You:

  • A practicing Christian and comfortable with working in a Christian environment.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and have a common sense approach.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including service users, their families, staff, volunteers and professionals.
  • Enthusiastic about developing partnerships and working with other organisations.
  • Committed to operating in a way which is inclusive, non-discriminatory and promotes equality in everything you do.
  • Willing to try new activities and be open to challenge.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise your own workload.
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
