Based in the City of London, we employ over 50 people and are actively seeking to recruit a new team member with drive, energy and a strong commitment to our Christian vision and ethos.
Stewardship provides a specialist mortgage service, tailored to the needs of churches and Christian charities. As Mortgages Financial Assessor, your role is to contribute to ongoing growth and success of this service, with your primary focus on the financial assessment of the applicant’s ability to meet their mortgage commitments. This is an exciting service as we work with our clients to understand their vision, faith and journey - whether it be a new build, a purchase or a renovation.
The mortgage service has expanded to a mortgage book now at £18m and over 100 borrowers. We expect the book to grow considerably over the next few years, as a key focus of Stewardship’s missional activities is to see the growth of God’s church in the UK.
We are particularly keen to see client churches being involved in church planting and, as such, Stewardship can offer mortgage finance to assist them to find the right premises in which to meet. This is an opportunity to be a part of a small but growing team, supporting and developing churches and Christian charities and play a significant part in driving forward our mission.
Salary: £40-50,000 per annum (depending upon experience & pro-rata for part time working) + benefits
