How does becoming our new Head of Finance and Business sound?We're looking for someone with strong experience and qualifications in finance, to provide sound financial accounting, reporting and financial forecasting to the organisation. This role will facilitate effective
financial and HR management, and work as part of the senior management team to deliver CCPAS' strategic objectives.In return you'll get to work for a growing national charity, impacting the lives of thousands of children and adults across the UK through the creation of safer places for all.

As a member of the Departmental Management Team (DMT), provide effective
leadership within the Operations Directorate underpinned by Christian values and beliefs
and that promote the Christian ethos and purpose of CCPAS in safeguarding the child
and adult at riskProvide effective leadership and management of the finances and business support
team, ensuring professionalism, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of high
quality financial advice, forecasting and budgetary accountability as directed by the
Executive Director of Operations and the Board.Ensure the effective monitoring, review and audit of all CCPAS financial arrangements
and transactions, ensuring continuous improvement and timely reporting and
forecasting to the Executive Director of Operations and the Board.Take responsibility for Annual Budget setting, forecasts, audit accounts and preparing
quarterly budgetary statements for the Executive Director of Operations and the Board.Provide effective business support, including the management of HR as directed by the
Executive Director of OperationsMake a significant contribution to the overall delivery and development of CCPAS
services in collaboration with other departmental managers and in line with the strategic
plan.Provide effective line management (supervision, appraisal, support, development and
coordination) to the Finance and Business Team.Keep up-to-date on all financial guidance and developments in the charity sector and advise
on the implications of those to the Board in the quarterly budgetary statement.Keep up-to-date on all HR guidance and best practice and advise on the implications of those
to the Executive Director of Operations.
