We are now looking to recruit a Creative Lead, Capital Youth. In 2013 the Diocese of London adopted a strategic programme called Capital Vision 2020, which included a key commitment to seek to ‘Double the number of children and young people in our church communities’. Furthermore, in October 2016 the Senior Staff of the Diocese of London agreed to a £3.3 million strategy called ‘Capital Youth’, to transform youth ministry.

The Church of England in London is growing, vibrant and at the heart of communities throughout the capital. At the London Diocesan Fund we seek to do everything we can to support this mission and growth, using our resources to help our parishes and chaplains to serve over 4 million people.We are now looking to recruit a Creative Lead, Capital Youth. This role has been identified as critical to creating a Diocese where youth ministry thrives. It is about supporting the Capital Youth Strategy and culture change through creative direction and communicating a compelling narrative of a culture of a vibrant, thriving youth culture.The successful applicant will be an experienced creative, able to use a variety of media to communicate effectively; able to demonstrate a portfolio of work and a passion for Christian Youth Work; a good networker with the ability to build trust and tell stories well; able to see new opportunities; a self-starter who is able to work independently; experienced in meeting tight deadlines; understands being a voice within and for the church.A qualification or formal training in communications an experience of working or volunteering with young people would be desirable.We are looking for someone who embodies our core values to respect each other and thrive together.
