YMCA London South West, YMCA East London, YMCA Slough merged together with the amalgamation of YMCA West London. This new organisation which is called YMCA St Paul’s Group has resulted in a growing presence across South, South West, East London, West London and Slough in Berkshire.  

The Association is part of the affiliated YMCA Christian Movement, offering opportunities to young people and their communities to develop in mind, body and spirit in order to fulfil their potential.  

The role of the Chaplaincy Strategic Lead is to coordinate the development of the Christian Ethos across the Association as well as provide a link to the Area Chaplains to ensure that resource and best practice is shared and that projects and initiatives are coordinated whilst remaining responsive to local situations.

Reporting to the CEO the Chaplaincy Strategic Lead will provide corporate leadership and direction for the Association in the area of Chaplaincy services.   The ideal candidate will be a practising Christian with leadership experience gained from working within a Church in membership of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.  He/she will also have leadership experience gained from working in a Christian organisation that works with people outside of a church setting.

Location: Surbiton

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Hours of Work: 40 hours/week – (includes 1 hour break daily)

Salary: £40,000
