To meet, enlarge and extend our vision, we are looking for a dynamic leader to join a budding team and oversee our ministry and mission to children, young people and their families through church life and by growing relationships with the surrounding communities. This is a position open to all applicants, ordained or not ordained, but it is non-stipendiary and ‘permission to officiate’ for ordained applicants would need to be sought from the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham prior to appointment.
Role: Associate Minister (with lead responsibility for developing work with children, young people and their families)
Hours: Full time – 40 hours a week including Sundays.
Salary: £25000 – £28000
Responsible to: Vicar (as line-manager)
Key relationships: Church Administrator; Curate; Children & Families worker for sister church (St Barnabas, Inham Nook)
Line manager for: Interns and Leaders (including volunteers) involved in ministry and mission with children, young people and their families
Employed by: The Parochial Church Council (PCC) of the Benefice of Chilwell and Inham Nook
