We are looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team at The Highbury Centre. The Highbury Centre is a Christian guest house and conference venue in London, established in 1893 with the mission to provide affordable accommodation for foreign and home missionaries, Christian workers and friends all over the world.
With its 40 guest rooms, 3 meeting rooms, comfortable lounges and spacious back garden it offers various options and a peaceful stay for those who come to London.This creates a varied, international, and fast-paced but friendly environment to work in. A typical day may require you to answer phone calls and emails, make reservations, receive payments, welcome guests, arrange conference refreshments and give directions to local amenities and central London attractions.It is a full-time, paid role which requires you to live in the centre, single accommodation and meals provided for £270.00 per month.Requirements: fluent written and spoken English warm and welcoming personality excellent communication skills via phone, email and in person computer literate with a strong knowledge of MS Office good time keeping and organisational skills excellent attention to detail team playerThe Centre is maintained in the Protestant Evangelical tradition; therefore, we expect all our staff members to respect the Protestant Christian ethos.Expected start is as soon as possible.We are unable to offer sponsorship to nationals without a permit to work in the UK.
